this about the moon landing!
at 20:17:42 UTC on 20 july 1969 (1:47 am on 21 July 1969 sri lankan time), neil armstrong landed the lunar module Eagle on the surface of the Moon

i thought bryan adams wrote that song about the moon landing.
he's canadian so it couldn't have been about the moon landing.
may be he knew about the moon landing but couldn't digest it
so he wrote a song about one of his flings
apparently the canadian govt has apologized for bryan adams

throw whatever stones you want at the americans but for 39 years no other country has made a statement like they have. we can only stare at the moon and count the poya days.

wait we even get that wrong. (this year's vesak was one day off! see above^^^)

its important to appreciate the science and engineering aspects of the mission - that it was almost impossible with the technology available back then.
